CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT

2025

: In CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT , Hanniie is taken to trial by the five main characters of her graphic novel Big Miskates
over issues of defamation and invasion of privacy. The project is an attempt at creating
narrative through exhibition and exploring different levels of making, from intense
mediums like woodworking and 3d printing to simple works on cardboard and disposable brown
paper. Though the exhibition is meant to be a reference to courtrooms and the ephemera of a
civil case, there are still elements of humor and absurdity that is often used in the graphic novel.
